Middle Finger Alert System

A real-time gesture alert app that detects when only the middle finger is raised and immediately flashes a red screen overlay while playing an alert sound.

Built with MediaPipe for hand-landmark detection, OpenCV for video processing and red-flash overlay, and Pygame for playing my custom ‘redsound.mp3’ alert. Supports palm and dorsal-side gestures, mirrored camera feed, and per-hand cooldown timers for reliable detection.
